Hello everyone! Say Hi to MANGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mango is a female baby Jack Russell and is damn hyper and naughty. She's super tiny but damn naughty and poor Calvin now has to try to toilet train Mango, clean up after Mango and look after Mango all day long..

But today he just left the poor baby all alone at home by herself to go out with me. Jack Russell very scared to be left alone one, poor Mango.. Calvin locked Mango it her sleeping quarters but clever Mango escaped out of it, out of Calvin's room and they found her on the sofa, wagging her tail when they came home. HAHA so cute right!!

Just got back from SMUX camp, which was pretty fun too. Though I suffered a bad bad bruise from a bad fall while rollerblading, some insect bites and a sore throat and fever, camp was pretty fun.
The first day was trekking from somewhere in Bt Timah to Clementi which was quite uneventful cept for the thick sloshy mud we had to walk through in this tunnel. Then we had dinner at Pandan Reservoir and camp food was never so delicious. It was packed Chinese food but it was really much nicer than the usual gross and cold Chinese packed food. Then it was night cycling from Pandan Reservoir up to Jurong Hill, then back to West Coast Park. Night cycling seemed pretty cool but a real pity that I didnt know how to cycle, so I was driven around by a nice senior called Ryan in a rented lorry.
Then we reached West Coast Park at like 2am and it wasnt even time for bed. There was this treasure hunt thingy whereby the treasures were food items like oreo biscuits, danish biscuits, B&J ice cream!, pizza etc etc. Our group got many many food, but fell short of the prized pizza. No matter, we got our B&J!
Then it was the usual pitch tent and wash up to sleep. To the dismay and horror of the girls, there was no bathing facilities so it was just wash up as much as possible and get as much sleep as possible.
Anyway, the second day was breakfast followed by rollerblading at West Coast Park, where I suffered my tail bone+ass bruise. DAMN PAIN OKAY! anyway, then we travelled in the coach charter all the way to East Coast Park where they learnt diving while I slacked away with Richard (my group mate for BOTH camps I went so far. damn suayy man!haha) and some seniors. After diving was sand sculpting, better known as frolicking by the sea attempting to build sandcastles. Then after that I left camp cos I had something on and had wanted to return the next day for kayaking but I fell very ill with sore throat and fever and aches everywhere. Must be the combination of too much sun, too little water, too little sleep and too much play.
I have no photos from the SMUX (SMU Xtremist Sports) Camp cos I was damn smart to have brought my camera to camp without the battery. I guess I must wait for pictures from the other people.
Some other random pictures rotting in my camera / PC / laptop:
I had steamboat at Empire Cafe at Raffles Hotel with Jolin, Candy and Bena on my second last day of work / SMU Matriculation day. Pretty damn worth it. We had steamboat, fried Fu Yong Omelette, choice of desserts and free flow of lime juice for about $11, with staff discount.
I had durian chendol for dessert which was very very yummy and huge. So all in all, it was pretty satisfying and worth it, except that I didnt like the soup that much. Cos I'm a tom yam person =).
Anyway, on to my last day of work. It was so hectic but fun! That's one of my favourite colleague, Annabel from the Catering Sales dept. She's so terribly sweet and I felt so she bu de to leave cos of her. haha :)
Okay, I don't really feel like blogging anymore. I think I got more random pictures coming up. But I feel so hot and sweaty and tired now..

I'm aching all over. Just came back from SMU Sports Camp.

Group 18 (From top left) - Huanmin, Naresh (Year 2), Richard, Samuel, Shawn, Yukun

(From bottom left) Seek, Lynn, Grace (Year 2), Me!

They were the craziest and wildest fellow campers I've ever had. Our group had the perfect combination - the super slack attitude (LEPAK!! - slack/relax in malay), the right amount of motivation which does not translate into over-enthusiasm and also quite a few hilarious/entertaining individuals. Plus quite a few lookers.
Anyway, I had loads of fun. And I highly suspect it is because of the 9 other siao kaos in my group and we really played till quite mad.

I'm damn tired and aching like no tmr so I'll just lepak (pardon this cos it was like our group's motto and I'm kind of missing the sound of this word) and stay home to wait for Calvin to bring Mango over to my house to play tomorrow. Mango's another very new exciting addition to my life. :)

Monday, July 3

Been having late night soccer at home. Late night soccer means lots of unhealthy high-sugar content drinks and super heaty snacks like potato chips and chocolate. All the sleepless nights and late night snacking has made me feel so restless and tired doing anything.

Anyway, we were all prepped for the England-Portugal match and Brazil-France match. While we were watching the England-Portugal match, I was having the yummy chocolate Yan Yan. Rooney had given Ricardo Carvalho a stomp in his groin area and earned an immediate sent-off when he shoved the kaypoh C.Ronaldo aside as C.Ronaldo ran to the ref telling him the most obvious thing. So England had brought on Peter Crouch to take on the striker role.

I was happily eating my Yan Yan and pulled out this particular stick biscuit..
And I immediately thought of Peter Crouch!! HAhahahahahHAHhHAhhahah!

His limbs are so long and uncoordinated that I can't stop laughing some times. Very mean I know but very entertaining, especially during boring England matches in the early group stages.
Crouch's signature robot celebration dance. Damn hilarious!

Just look at how freaking tall he is, jumping alongside Beckham. Because of him, I was thinking a while ago, that actually tall people can make very good strikers. Their head finds the ball real easy, their legs reach the balls much quicker and their arms can block off more opponents. But they should at least get more co-ordinated and less skinny tall guys huh?

Anyway, I just voted France to win in Raffles Hotel's staff guess the winner contest held in the staff canteen today.

My last day at work is decided! 14th July! I'll miss Raffles Hotel terribly but I'm glad I will have time to RELACKKKKKKKK. haha.
